Why we have children?

Oh my gosh how the time flies. Not only is it February but it is almost Valentines Day. My husband thinks that Valentines Day is just a made up holiday to get men in trouble and for business' to make more money. I'll give you one guess what we are not doing for Valentines. Oh I am sure we will eat out but it will be more along the lines of McDonalds and not much fancier then that. Maybe I will get the obligator card, but only if my kids remember to remind their dad. I knew there was a reason I had children. Seriously, if I didn't have my children to remind their dad that it is their birthday, or christmas is coming up, or with a little prompting that its our anniversary or my birthday the year would go by and we would never know anything was different.

Jessica is 2 now. We have yet to celebrate her birthday but that is coming up this weekend. We will be having a pancake party. Who said birthday's had to be after dinner?

We had to postpone the party a week so the boys could spend last weekend snowboarding. Jake, Jared, and Jordan all snowboarding for the weekend for their scout activity. Although the boys had a great time, they came home a little sore and a little sunburned. Mom forgot to pack the sunscreen. Well who knew February would be this sunny.
